My concept for project 3 is a backwards mermaid that briefly informs viewers on coral reefs and what their protection efforts look like today.
I struggled with rigging my first puppet (bottom photo.) I could not get the parts to fix or drag properly, even after tagging everything. If anyone has any tips on that let me know. Rigging this fish guy will be my goal for this weekend.
I love the silly subversion of the character you're using, and I like the topic of coral reefs too! I hope you can figure out your rigging issues, I'll be starting on my own puppet soon enough and I'm probably gonna have to rely on tutorials myself

ReplyDeleteGreat concept, nice start on the artwork. Send me your illustrator file and I can rig it for you and send it back as a puppet. Rigging for the first time is pretty tricky. Very interesting reverse mermaid idea. Make sure you get the audio nailed down And have all of the mouth shapes.
