Bubble tutorial test

I know I want to include bubbles in my personal interstitial as I believe it reflects my style, personality, and love for all things aquatic. Thankfully, I found a tutorial for a really cool bubble effect. Bellow is both the tutorial and my shot at it.

  1. This looks great! I don't have much else to say other than I am curious what sound effects you may put for the bubbles when it gets to the sound editing stage.

  2. They really have effects for everything, huh. Pretty cool! Only thing I could suggest is probably a little more follow-through on your bubbles so that they don't suddenly shift their momentum/direction. I think it'd be neat if you managed to have the bubble twirl with the added momentum rather than just hard-shifting directions

  3. I like the idea, I think maybe either making them bigger or more dramatic could help. Also, I think that it could be cool to pop or something.

  4. I think a cool sound would really give the bubbles more life when you get to that step.

  5. That is a really cool effect. If you wanted to use it as a transition, maybe recreate those bubble transitions from Spongebob where they fly in from the bottom and cover up the screen.

  8. Don't forget, this is a self promotion, so need somebody to contact you. Think about what you're saying, with this effect, might make more sense conceptually if it were ripples coming out from the centre suggesting that you affect others with your design? Is there a metaphorical way to suggest something about yourself using this effect? Very cool effect though.

  10. This effect is really unique, I wonder if your name could float into the frame similar to what the bubbles are doing

  11. This is so fun, I wouldn't even know where to begin to start this. I agree with Molly when she suggested exploring turning your name into the bubbles.
